A decent enough action/comedy hybrid, though without strong character development (other than a strong turn for Janet McTeer as an assassin/proper Englishwoman) and a completely outlandish story it strains itself too much. If it's a slow night, you could do worse, but it's not a movie that's going to stick with you for too long.

It's difficult to enjoy a film when the leads are boring. Anthony enjoys cooking and being alone while Julian thinks of women. Julian's characters is really annoying and Anthony is not even charming, and tries hard to be. The only character worth watching is Helen Bingham (Janet McTeer), the rest are just too silly. There are a few unrealistic scenes, but I guess its part of the comedy. Cat Run tries too much to be in the same vein/style as Snatch or Lock Stock, but just fails miserably in most aspects.

The action is hard, there is some humor the only thing missing is a tiny bit of reality but who cares? When you're in for some action, bad language and don't care about some realistic story......
