This movie is a "trip" in every sense of the word - but if you are familiar with Gregg Araki, you should know what you're getting yourself into. What starts off as a college identity crisis/sexual misadventure ends with an apocalyptic cult and psychic powers. Crazy - but also highly original and entertaining.

Rating of

Sharply written and sexy comedy from Greg Araki which takes a lot on board but scores on all levels. Itís funny, visually inventive and has the considerable presence of Thomas Dekker as a sexually confused stoner. The story (sci-fi/teen sex/mystery) with it's spacey flashbacks and numerous sub plots may be a head spinner, but it's a very enjoyable trip.

Kaboom may be a mess, but its one that you can never take you're eyes off. It's deliciously entertaining, fast, and wholly original. Some may find it to be a pret...
