*Review for 1996 movie DANGER ZONE* Pretty bad action-adventure-mystery hokum that went DTV. Billy Zane and Robert Downey Jr. slumming it as Americans caught up in a conspiracy revolving around toxic waste, Chinese mercenaries, and African revolutions. Half the time, I could not understand RDJ's accent;for some reason he's Southern in this movie. There are a couple okay action scenes and the explosions look decent. And it was shot in Africa, not behind a CGI background. Billy Zane's ex-wife plays his love interest in this. I can see why they split;not much chemistry but she is pretty.
