Our Daily Free Stream: Thumbsucker (german dubbed). Manche Eltern benehmen sich wie Eltern, andere wollen unsere besten Freunde sein. Wahrscheinlich sind die idealen Eltern beides und vielleicht führt nur die eine Rolle zu einer unglücklichen Teenagerzeit. Oder ist die Teeniezeit sowieso unglücklich? Wie dem auch sei. Thumbsucker handelt von einem intelligentem, jedoch unzufriedenen Teeanger namens Justin (Lou Pucci). Er hat die Angewohnheit, mit 17 noch am Daumen zu lutschen. Seine Eltern heissen "Audrey" und "Mike" (Tilda Swinton und Vincent D'Onofrio) - es sind solche, die sich immer mit dem Vornamen anreden. Justin Cobb (Lou Taylor Pucci) is a 17 year old who has the habit of thumb sucking. A dentist namely Perry (Keanu Reeves) performs hypnosis. Mr. Geary (Vince Vaughn) is Justin’s teacher and includes him on the debate team. The dialogue was smartly written with lines from the characters: Perry – “Some of us have heavy loads.”I’ve accepted my human disorder.” Justin – “So now these celebrities are more important than your family.” “Too much pressure.” “Why can’t you tell me anything with how you deal with things?” Audrey - “We’re all addicted to something.” A film about growing-up, bad parenting, lies; experimentation, family, and relationships were portrayed wonderfully.
