A family film that has all the bases covered. It's funny, charming and enjoyable. Despite the far-fetched premise, the characters are grounded in reality and the story has some genuine moments that I related to as a kid.

Hey, I'll tell you what - if you're young, you'll probably enjoy this. However, I can only suspend my disbelief so much, and by the time I watched this, I was in the mid-teen years and even then I was thinking "seriously? SERIOUSLY?" It falls out of that nostalgic age for me.

It's a fun film, if you are able to suspend the belief necessary to digest the farfetched premise. Has a special place in my heart, as I watched a VHS of it a bunch as a kid.

I saw this a long time ago. I remember it being a moderate amount of fun for an 11 year old kid. yay.
