A throwback to classic comedies that itself has since become a classic, "Paper Moon" is funny and heartwarming without overdoing it on the sweetness.

Beautifully shot in black and white, this film is a subtly funny and very charming journey story of a con man and his (maybe) daughter. The crux of the film, of course, is the chemistry between real life father and daughter team Ryan and Tatum O'Neal and the emotions that they bring to the roles make the film. It's not a laugh riot, but I think the situational comedy is more rooted in believable situations and reactions, which almost makes the film work better than most comedies.

Wonderful classic! Tatum is amazingly good as the tough, no nonsense orphan. This film is funny and charming with some action and a drama. Love this film.
