A silly fun average animated flick about an undisciplined bear. Boog the bear was not that likable or cute for kids, not even funny enough for adults. Plot was fair and soundtrack apt. Open Season had a nice voice cast but suffers due to poor screenplay. Open Season can be eye candy at times but is not as entertaining as most animated features.

I thought the movie was pretty funny. My wife and I really enjoyed. Our son isn't that big of a fan. Does that say something about us?

It was okay, but compared to Pixar it can't hold up in terms of story or animation. The kids will probably be entertained by it, but adults will find is severally lacking.

An ideal, but far-fetched cartoon which doesn't really have any lessons to teach the youngsters. Final Grade: C+

This movie is hilarious! The character acting is really good for an animated movie too. Man, I laughed hard though.
