This one was just as good as the first movie, maybe better. Everything was original, all new treasure and all new characters while keeping with the old ones. It had great action scenes and again great acting.

This is a pretty good sequel to the entertaining first National Treasure movie. The title refers to the President of the United States' secret book that contains all of the country's secrets. It plays a pivotal role in linking several clues to clear the Gates family name of masterminding President Lincoln's death. Lots of action, good actors (especially Voight and Mirren as Gates' parents), you should have a pretty good time watching this.

This film definitely broke the rule that sequals aren't as good as the original. The story was interresting, engaging and smart. There were lots of laughs to be had which is always a nice surprise with action adventure movies like this. The only thing that bothered me a bit is how obviously open to a third movie the ending left, but if it's anything like the first two that may not be a bad thing. I highly recomend this movie!!
