Action mixed with Compassion

The story is about a 9 year old autistic kid named Simon (played by Miko Hughes) who has cracked a government super-code that was placed deep within a puzzle in a `geek's puzzle magazine' to test its durability. Simon manages to decipher and call the secret phone number but then all hell breaks loose. Because of his ability, the NSA has to get rid of him. He's a danger for the national security so he has to die.

A hit-man is send to his house, his parents get killed, but the kid survives. Of course NSA doesn't take into account that a crazy, ex-undercover FBI agent Art (Bruce Willis) will be assigned to the case when the boy cannot be found. Art eventually finds the child in the back of his closet, and takes him to the hospital. Now he will do everything to save and protect the kid. …

Does an autistic child really display some strand of genius that a complex code as Mercury could really be decoded? I don't think this is an Oscar material but definitely worth seeing. The 9-year old autistic boy SIMON had no idea that he would be cracking the most advanced encryption code that could put thousands of lives in grave danger. When his parents got killed in the process, ART (BRUCE WILLIS) came into the scene and took on the responsibility of protecting the now abandoned child. We see the clash of intentions, good as they were on its own context, but very dangerous when they collide. The FBI needs to cover their own, the NSA cannot allow the names of undercover agents to be exposed, and ART argues that a life of an innocent young boy should pay the price for systems …
