Nowhere near as entertaining as the first. In fact, the only scene I can remember with any fondness is Will Smith speaking "beatbox" with an alien. Other than that, it's pretty much forgettable. Just not worth the effort.

Short, not sweet, but simple. In other words, not good. I was expecting more, but with sequels you can usually guess that it will not be good. Don't waste your time.
