Steven Soderbergh's movies are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. And honestly, that's what makes him one of the best filmmakers working right now, as he continues to explore different styles and avoid repeating what has been done before. Black Bag is a slick and riveting spy thriller with a straightforward story that remains unpredictable. It's a well-directed film with superb acting and writing. Finally, a good movie in 2025!

Spry and lean, as any good triller should be. But "Black Bag" isn't just entertaining. It's fascinating for both how much fun it is to watch unfold and how interesting it gets as you dive beneath its surface.
