Some people think this is exploitive and Catherine Breillat has her share of criticism, but Fat Girl has great acting with a dark view of adolescence. It's challenging and the last 15 minutes are unexpected and brutal but it's a good film.

Fat Girl. UGH! I didn't like this awful movie. It was my first taste of Catherine Breillat's work and luckily she has done much better!!!
