Best you eat before watching this tasty movie

"You're never going to be happy cooking for someone else."

If there's one thing I really hate, it's those countless cooking television shows (and variations) we get on our plate (how appropriate) recent years. They even founded television channels like "24 Kitchen" and "Njam" where you can view cooking 24 hours a day. How is it possible. You can't even surf your TV-channels on an average night without bumping into some cooking program where they are preparing a delicious dish again. I'm sick and tired of hearing the terminology like baking, flaming, roasting, steaming, filleting, Bain-Marie, stewing, poaching, ragout, caramelize and the hype-word in recent years "cuisson". I'm not sick of seeing those plates with tasty food, but the oversupply of television programs with people cooking …

"I may not do everything great in my life, but I'm good at this. I manage to touch people's lives with what I do and I want to share this with you." Surprisingly funny and touching, this Jon Favreau's flick could be one of his finest in terms of storytelling, cinematography and acting. The supports we're solid like Downey's rich and suave ex husband, the critical Oliver Platt, Leguizamo's enthusiastic sidekick character and even the bossy Hoffman. It encompasses fatherhood, a broken marriage, entrepreneurship, advantages of technology and even the sensitivity of the person whose negative blogs and Twitter wars have targeted. It's too bad there was not much detail of the Chef's wife's occupation and the restaurant he first worked for, nevertheless, this was a tasty treat from Favreau's …

First of this has some great music in this movie. its a feel good nice movie that is very likeable.
about a chef who works in a resturant and is not allowed to do the menu he wants which leads to a online critic attacking his skills. knowing nothing of the internet and twitter he responds which leads to him loosing his job . meanwhile his young son is trying to get close to him but he is always saying he is to busy.
iI wouldn't really call this a comedy but it is a very nice movie. not too sentimential or silly or comedic or any of that , just enjoyable from start to finish. if you want to watch something nice which should make you feel good then this is the movie for you.
one of the nicest films ive seen for a long while. along with grand budapest hotel its a pleasure to watch

Okay before I watched this movie I had a really big meal and while watching the movie I was freaking hungry. This movie is about a failed chef starts up a food truck in order to jump start his creative process while at the same time attempting to reconnect with his estranged family. The best way to describe Jon Favreau character. his a hard working man with a lot of things on his plate, with all the food critics bashing him and he has to spent time with his son and the son really likes spending time with him but with business and keeping up with his job it's really hard for him and you can see that in that movie. And the reason I bring that up because the movie Descendants, in my review for that movie I describe George Clooney's
character in that movie. and in a strange way Jon Favreau …

Cheesy in the Best Way Possible

Chef is definitely the happiest movie to come out this year. If you walk out of this one without a big smile on your face, you’re probably a Terminator. It really is a whole lot of fun to watch, maybe even more so then necessary.

Jon Favreau does a great job on both sides of the camera in this movie. This story about a divorced man who is trying to balance his relationship with his son and a professional predicament that came about due to a Twitter misunderstanding is really about finding a balance in life between all of the different stuff, good and bad, that life throws at you. Favreau’s character finds away to keep doing what he loves doing, being a chef, and finds away to connect with his young son all in one. The movies acting and heartfelt plot make a very fun, …
