Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, with garden gnomes? Sounds a little silly, but it's actually a lot of fun. The animation is good, as is the music by Elton John. Some of the voice work was a little bland, but I still had a fun time with this movie. A really cute little animated film!

In school, I remember being forced to watch plays & movies about Romeo & Juliet & they would always bore me to death.Gnomeo & Juliet was the only version that didn't put me to sleep.It was different & better then all the rest.My only complaint is that I really could've done without all the Elton John songs.I'm not a fan of Elton John at all & 1 song was 1 too many but more then that was way to much

"Gnomeo and Juliet" tells us a love story of gnomes Gnomeo and Juliet, happened to be living on different yards. Gnomeo from Blues and Juliet from Reds have to face conflict within this family feud. I really had fun with this film! At first, I thought they will just copy what exactly happened on Shakespeare's play with a little fun on it, but I was wrong, lots of fun!!! Gnomeo and Juliet (with the red pointed hat) are lovable on their on LITTLE ways. And I'm glad that there was ***SPOILER!*** an appearance of William Shakespeare.
