The documentary style worked well at the beginning and offered a fresh take on the genre, but it wasn't really up to the task of capturing the spiritual threat and psychological intensity of the best possession movies.

I love mockumentary style films; there's something about that style of filmmaking that's extremely interesting and appealing. Add to that a eerie setting and solid lead performances and you get a good film, right? Meh...while there are some elements of the film that I really liked, there were some inconsistencies that ultimately made this film less effective than it tried to be. There were some nice twists, but the ending didn't add up at all.

I see now why so many people were turned off by the ending - it's like the director had no idea where this was going and just said "the hell with it" and tacked on the rather abrupt and disappointing end. However, preceding that I loved the mock-exorcism-turned-terror, so even with the terrible end, I still recommend this.

This movie was allright. What really carries this entire movie is the lead actor. There were a couple of special effects in the movie but they were very suttle. The movie could have been alot better if more special effects were used and with more gore and possessed violence. But at the end of the day I was entertained, so the movie served it's purpose. I enjoyed watching this one a heck of alot more than Paranormal though.

I'm not into these type of movies about the devil or being possessed but the previews looked really good so I had to see it.It was a good movie from the beginning but the lousy ending spoiled everything

started off thinking "what in the world am I watching" got to a point where I was like "ok, starting to get interesting" then the screen went black, and the credits went up, and I was like "WTF" lol so yeah, bad movie

I liked this movie. The skeptical theatrical exorcist revealing the tricks of his trade in a video tell all was a refreshing and novel approach at couching a possessed child piece. I appreciated the humor of the minister demonstrating that his flock did not really listen to his sermon and as such could not critically assess the contents of his spiel. The subtle progression from harmless humor to mounting terror was reminiscent of Spielberg's "Poltergiest" (the scariest movie ever made). The film had me hooked even after the minister turned around on the freeway to head back to his predictable demise. I say this film was predictable, yet novel. It draws the viewer into what seems harmless...the chops you to pieces.

First 30 minutes = BORING!! Next hour = Quite good and creepy. Final 5-10 minutes included the most idiotic ending ever. I don't mind the mock-umentary style. It was used quite effectively. For that hour in the middle of the movie, alone, I would recommend the film. I would also recommend shutting the movie off before the ending and imagining an ending that would make you happy. Overall? It was okay.

I am so tired of the mock documentary movies. They really need to find a better way to explain away a low budget without relying on this pitfall. Most of the movie is a complete snoozefest only highlight is the acting by the supposed possessed girl. Other than her there's really nothing else positive about this movie, it's barely good enough to pass the time, nothing scary, nothing interesting, no point what so ever. Shouldn't have even been made, waste of the film is was made on.
