Tyrone Power stars in this splashy Technicolor costume adventure movie set during the Spanish conquest of Mexico. The story covers a lot of ground and features a rotating supporting cast. But Jean Peters and Lee J. Cobb make an impression as his love interest and ally respectfully. The sets and costumes look good.
