Plusses for the acting and the direction and the camerawork; minuses for the ways the story was changed to make it more acceptable to censors. Garbo and Fairbanks (Jr) are great.

A really good early Greta Garbo movie. I saw this and Flesh and the Devil at the same time and somehow liked it much more, which is strange. It isn't supposed to be one of her better ones, and yet something drew me to it. I feel Garbo was more expressive during her silent film days.
