Although full of recognizable stars from yesteryear, "Grand Hotel" is bland and forgettable.

I liked this movie a lot. It had moments of sorrow, and of humor. My favorite character was definitely Lionel Barrymore's. The whole thing was great.

This movie is absolutely amazing. I loved the characters and their sense of ... imprisonment at the hotel. Trapped in one place and trapped in their careers, class, what have you. I love "classic" movies like this and hope to discover more like it.
