I find it quite unbelievable that the director of this madness went on to make one of the greatest fantasy movies of all time and wining an Oscar with it. Peter Jackson was bloody insane at he's youth, but he sure made one heck of a movie that I won't be forgetting anytime soon. While I don't think this movie is as good as "Brain Dead" (Or Dead Alive), but this sure entertained me for an hour and 32 minutes and both movies are very different from each other.

This early feature by Jackson is hilariously tasteless low budget schlock horror, complete with exploding sheep, vomiting aliens and chainsaws. Like Sam Raimi before him, I can't help wishing he still did this kind of thing...

This is such a good movie, one of the best horror comedies, worth watching for the gory special effects and campy gags. And who knew Peter Jackson could kick ass like that, in a Harry Potter scarf no less!

A goofy, bloody disgusting, horror comedy exercise from Peter Jackson that manages to be squirm-inducing and just plain funny; the acting is atrocious, but it has its low-budget charms. Final Grade: B-
