Although the animation is not very technically impressive, the story and heart of the film shines through and the film admirably treats some of the sadder/darker parts of the book with great grace and importance.

Classic children's favorite that is just as good for adults. It may not be as polished as Disney films, but it has just as much heart.

This movie takes a place in my heart and reminds me of my childhood. After reading this great book I remember seeing this movie for the first time in school.
