I enjoyed this one almost as much as 'The Great Pumpkin'.

Like the other nostalgic Charlie Brown cartoons, this animated film cuts to the heart of a holiday about family and gratefulness with simplicity and earnestness. It's good to see films made without an ounce of cynicism.

There is not that much to this cartoon and it is stuffed with unnecessary filler. A better film is the Charlie Brown special about the Mayflower voyage. This is just kind of annoying to watch Peppermint Patty act well annoyingly.Charlie Brown's Halloween and Christmas are far superior.

In true Charlie Brown tradition "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" is of the great special animations that kids get to see just about every fall. I think that everyone can find a way to relate to the simplicity that the Charlie Brown animations bring to their audience. Something as small as not being able to cook when your friends all expect a big thanksgiving feast can make things very funny. The film is well scripted and the story is entertaining. I would definitely recommend this holiday classic to anyone that likes good old fashioned animation.

This is such a great holiday movie. I have been watching this since I was little. I love it! My favorite is when they make the Thanksgiving 'feast' with buttered toast and popcorn and set everything out on the ping pong table. This a classic movie that everyone should see!
