The inevitable cash-in sequel to a decent original this is not half as good, but still ten times better than anything else Seagal has done.

As with the first, this is a low-rent Die Hard. However, I kind of prefer this sequel. Mostly for the camp aspects.

The best reason to watch Under Siege 2? To see Katherine Heigl (pre-almost anything pretty) play Steven Seagal's "rebel" daughter. There's also a pretty good eye-torture scene if that's your thing.
