What can be better than Michael Bay and fighting robots? A kick-ass soundtrack and outstanding cast. Well, the soundtrack is certainly up to par, but the cast was...well....bad. Shia Labeouf is dreadful and Megan Fox can do little more than add sex appeal for all the tween boys who have just discovered the ever-popular celebrity sex icon. However, Josh Duhamel and John Turturro give this movie some acting credibility. Great special effects and awesome action sequences, this is a must-see for any action fan.

not a good movie to me but all of my friends love it! it has a lot of humor and is very funny, too much that it is more of a comedy than an action, science fiction, or a thriller. the story is shallow, does not present much problems to the audience. shia labeouf is funny, as well as anthony anderson, and megan fox is sizzling hot!

This is an awesome movie with loads of action. But its not action for the sake of action. It has a story to it. I am really glad they picked Shia LaBeouf to play this role. He is really good at playing a down on there luck, sarcastic, smart but have a lot to learn type of character. I can't wait to see what they are going to do with the sequal because this film sets the bar for the series pretty high.

A movie to be watched in the theater. It is spectacular in the theater do to the impressive visuals. The story suites the visuals well enough some people were confused a little to easily by it because it is fairly simple. The visuals at home do not hold as much greatness and the flaws glare out more. Namely the poor acting by the two leads and the poor interactions and dialogue. The jokes get old quickly. The best part are the robots which are great and voiced well. Although those characters are even poorly tampered with thanks to Michael Bay who had Optimus Prime say my Bad. My suggestion see the sequel in the theater and watch this if you can in a theater only.

Great thrill ride science fiction action film that hold extremely true to the passionate vision of the fan-base, of course it is helped greatly by the fact that Michael Bay is himself a huge transformers fan. The special effects are used precisely for their purposes and nothing more, while the take on the colossal robotic movement is a very appreciated break from large, slow moving unbeatable machines. These transformers move so fast that you may need to watch it several times to catch everything that occurs in a battle. Hard-hitting fights and spectacular explosions abound!

I loved Transformers. I have been waiting a long time for a good action, fun movie like this for a while and it delivered. Of course there were flaws, lots of flaws, but it still entertained and kept you interested throughout, which is more than you can say for most movies. I thought Shia was a cutie. really enjoyed it. Loved the Linkin Park song at the end! Can't wait for the Second one to come out!!

I love this movie! The battle and the special effect is good...I'm not a fans of transformer series but I really enjoy this movie and I understand why all of the fans have been waiting to watch it...

explosive, over the top, senseless - but we loved it!!! what else do you expect from a Michale Bay movie. his movies are supposed to be like that. that's what we want from him too.. and boy does he impress us? of course...you've got destruction and explosions all over the screen as giant robots battle it out for a cube!! call it the world's most expensive toy ad, call it the longest car ad in history - it doesnt matter at all. at the end of the day you come out of the movies quenching your thirst for action. bring on the sequel Michael. but do work on the storyline a bit more...

Ahhh this is my one time hated movie! Micheal Bays lame excuse for a film left me depressed and irratated. Its like he threw the toys into a bonfire. All the way through the film I felt depressed. The sad story with all the death mixed with thelame excuse for a try at comedie mixed with the knowlege all the way through that this is meant to be a family film made me cringe. I could hear the audience laugthing at hairspray next door and wished I was there. Its not good depression like Babel but bad and why oh why did Shia LaBeouf have a love intrest in a toy film. Not all films need two lame people to fancie each other. No stars. And I mean that im sick of it.
