Two rockers meet up in Venice Beach and take on an epic quest to claim the Pick of Destiny and become the greatest rock band the world has ever seen. This movie has the coolest songs that I ever heard and the funniest final battle in film history.

An annoying film that really only would play well to core fans of Tenacious D. Some of the rock references and cameos are fun, but the whole film is too self indulgent.

While there are some mildly amusing bits of dialogue and gags, the songs are where the bulk of the comedy is at. The rock tunes are what make the movie funny and they are so well written and played that it'd be impossible not to sing one or two after you watch the movie.

Part stoner comedy, part rock epic and all fun, though it never amounts to anything spectacular. Fans of Tenacious D will be entertained, and even casual viewers will find plenty to laugh about.

In conclusion: Wow is all I can say. Not really, I can also say that this was a halarious and compelling film. Plot = genious. The actors were perfect for the parts they played. I loved every single song from this movie. My overall rating is 9/10.
