I really rather like this movie. I liked all of the plot twists. And, I really like the character, Beaky.

While 'Suspicion' has an evocative Gothic atmosphere about it, it's glaringly miscast lead and terrible script make it a largely forgettable venture for the legendary auteur. Sir Cedric Hardwicke would go on to be much better utilized in Hitchcock's 'Rope'.

A fairly good Hitchcock suspense film but not terrific, because it just ends which can work in something like the birds but in this it does not seem complete. It is interesting to see where it goes and Cary Grant is the stand out actually because you suspect something from how he acts but he does not give it away either.

Slight, but perfectly respectable Hitchcock suspensor with Fontaine earning an Academy Award. What's in that glass? Final Grade: B
