Immortals review
Daniel Corleone - wrote on 02/15/12

Theseus (Henry Cavill) is a mortal chosen by Zeus to fight evil. Zeus (Luke Evans), meets with his fellow Gods Athena (Isabel Lucas), Poseidon (Kellan Lutz), Ares (Daniel Sharman), Apollo (Corey Sevier), and Heracles (Steve Byers) to inform them not to interfere with human activities. Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) is in search for a powerful bow. The overloaded characters and screenplay made the story difficult to comprehend and at times dull. On the positive aspect, the special effects, cinematography, score, sincere performances and action sequences were riveting. Immortals is a descent action fantasy much similar to 300 and Clash of the Titans, whose flaws fall under the storytelling compartment and better character development.
