18 Again!

Another 80's body switching movie

Back in the 80's there was this fascination with body swapping flicks. The idea behind it is simple enough, two people completely opposite of each other swap bodies through some magical hocus pocus and they have to live the life of the other person until the magical way to go reverse the process happens.
18 Again! Puts Charlie Schlatter and George Burns in the position of switching places just after George Burns character Jack Watson is celebrating his 81'st birthday he wishes to be 18 again. (Another of those twists, not only switch body but reverse the age 81 ---- 18 amazing).
The movie wasn't too bad, most of George Burns movies are pretty entertaining, even if this movie doesn't really have him in it for that long, Charlie Schlatter does a very impressive imitation of him, he mimics some of the things that Geroge Burns had put years into perfection, the way he holds his cigar, the way the walks, his facial expressions Schlatter got them all down perfectly.
Over all this is a good family movie, most kids would get a kick out of it even though the majority of them these days probably have no idea who George Burns was.
