Alien and Predator, two different movies that came together simply because the original directors found appreciation in each others work and decided to give a nod to each others work, starting in Predator when there is a shot inside the craft, and there is an Alien head.
After that, there were video games, comic books and a number of fan stories written about the two characters dueling it out. Then in 2004 the fans got what they really wanted, the movie was released to the fans lined up to see it. Unfortunately while the fans were dying to see the movie, it didn't go over with such rave reviews.
When I got to see it I thought it was great. I really liked a lot of the cross over the information, everything from Charles Bishop Weyland, the man that the Bishop robot was modeled after to the way the the predators acquire their weapons.
Any fan of the two franchises will have fun watching this movie, I'm looking forward to the sequel.
