A must see!

This is a very good movie, based on the real life investigation of Robert Hannssen, who for years passed confidential information to the Russians. Chris Cooper plays Hannssen in a way that is very surprising. You know right away what Hannssen's crimes are, yet at times you still sympathize with him even though he's guilty of treason. Ryan Phillippe plays Eric O'Neill, the up-and-comer in the FBI placed to spy on Hannssen and provide information. Both he and Cooper are very strong, and Laura Linney and Dennis Haysbert do well as O'Neill's supervisors. There's lots of suspense, even though you know how it ends (the movie begins with John Ashcroft's press conference on the matter). The film does take some dramatic license with certain events, which is acknowledged, but at it's core is a true story of the biggest espionage case in U.S. history.

Breach Review comment

yeah, my bro said this was good, but I just can't see it. Was it better than the Good Shephard?
