One of the best performances I have seen by Will Smith. Overall this movie is pretty good, I was a bit disappointed at the ending because I wasn't ready for it to be over. I wanted more answers and more explanation about the infected. I felt that it just started getting really good and then it was over. I would have liked a few more scenes that would have expanded on how they are still somewhat human and even smart on some levels. If you liked Resident Evil and could tolerate Cast Away this movie is for you.

Yeah I see what you are saying. The way that it was so much like 28 days later is the fact that will smith thinks he is all alone, and that there is no one else around - exactly like 28 days later with Cillian Murphy. Also, the virus does the almost exact same thing as the rage virus in 28 days later (minus the flesh being eaten by the sun and the crappy animation).
