DeForest Kelly tries to clear his name from a murder rap in this film noir. The mystery is actually pretty engaging. The cinematography kind of spoils the fact this movie is on the cheap side. But it helps establish the dream-like atmosphere and puts the audience in the protagonist’s uneasy position.
