Joel McCrea plays kind of a bad guy-or is he? That's the set-up for this western drama. Even though McCrea is top billed, his son is the main character who begins to suspect his father is an outlaw. Often events are narrated through montages. Unfortunately that includes a lot of potentially good action scenes. There is one suspenseful scene where the son believes he's being chased by his own father.
