The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

The black sheep of the long running franchise that at least brought Justin Lin onboard for the stellar sequels he'll direct later on. It features characters which most of them don't return and a plot that doesn't mean much in the end. Lucas Black and Bow Wow are pretty bland protagonists. But at least we got Sung Kang as the cool sidekick for future appearances and Nathalie Kelley is a pretty love interest. Some of the racing scenes are fun to watch and it is kind of a time-capsule for mid-2000s trends in pop culture. To its credit, somehow it is probably the most important in terms of keeping the continuity for the entire F&F movie series.
