Technicolor adventure flick that combines the safari genre with elements of film noir, of all things. Set in a Casablanca-type jungle backwater where criminals hide out from extradition, a brave explorer (Nader) leads a surveying expedition of shady characters including a hitman (Pate) and a woman fleeing her past (Mayo). Peter Lorre pops in on occasion as the ersatz Claude Rains. Odd but sometimes interesting adventure fare.
