Elaborate costume adventure inspired by Marco Polo. Tyrone Power and Jack Hawkins are too old for their roles. Yet Hawkins is more likable than Power despite playing the sidekick. Orson Welles is entertaining as always playing a Mongol warlord, providing some much needed gravitas and charisma.
