The Most Dangerous Game (1932)

A brisk 63 minute feature centered around a unique hunting game. No time is wasted in the progress of the story, the first 30 minutes being the set-up and reveal, the second 30 being the hunt itself. Schoedsack delivers tight, solid directing that eludes to his forthcoming classic 'King Kong'. It's entertaining in the visuals and tensity of the chase. I only wish it were longer. 'The Most Dangerous Game' proves to be a surprisingly fun thriller that delivers on it's premise.
