'Underworld Awakening' is a dumb, dumb action movie, with very little in terms of plot and story. What's present has almost no connection to the rest of the series before it. The intent here is for this to be the starter of more sequels. That will most likely not be the case. I didn't find anything to enjoy about this super mundane action movie. The only saving grace in this series has been the action. But here the fights are the same uninspired, slo-mo, wirework, CG crap we've seen a million times over. This resembles the terrible 'Resident Evil' franchise. I can't even enjoy it for it's badness, because it's just not entertaining in the slightest. I give 'one star' for a bit of cool bloodshed in the final brawl, and that's it.
