the best batman movie ever made...along with that it's a movie which hollywood can be proud of...excellent direction and action sequences combined with stellar performances and gadgetry makes this one a real treat to watch...

It gets right up my tits when a producer carps on about his or her new film being 'much darker' - and then something like this shows up. Not as gothic as I'd like (I would do it in black and white vintage film stock and set in 1938), it still stays true to the original comic (as if I care) while carving out a stylish niche for itself.
