I agree with you! I don't think I even jumped when the bear popped out because I was so bored by that point that I had glazed over by then. Cliche, upon cliche, upon cliche..it became tedious. It could have served as a tutorial on horror movie cliches to avoid. And the ending.. Really??

The people have spoken, FilmCrave has listened. The point system has been revamped in order to provide more points for detailed, informative reviews. The breakdown is as follows: Quick Reviews (3 points) will now be any review up to 749 characters. A Full Review (6 points) will be from 750-2499 characters and the newly-created Critical Review (10 points) will be any review of 2500+ characters. I think we differ greatly on what is the requirements for best movie of the year. To me, the best movie criteria simply means the most memorable film of the year, taking into account originality, production quality, story and execution. Most importantly I ask myself "is this a movie I will want to see or remember in 5 years?" Lincoln does not fit that bill but Django does for me. Does Argo?

You felt Argo was more enjoyable than Django. Django was awesome - I do not have confidence that Argo is more than a 3 star movie.
