I would put Oz more in the rental category - it's good, but not rush out to theater good.

2013 is apparently the year we find out all our old action stars are, well, old - although I'm hoping Red 2 will at least be entertaining...

In terms of being re-watchable, I think Django might have an edge, but for which movie still stand up better after five years, still going with Argo.

Out of all the films up for awards this year, Argo certainly fits that criteria the best for me. It has more staying power than Lincoln or Zero Dark Thirty in my book.

The Golden Globes gives both Django Unchained and Argo a boost for the Oscars (not so much for Lincoln). If I was choosing which film is more fun to watch, I would probably stick with Django - however, if I'm going by which film impressed me more, I'm still sticking with Argo.

Silver Linings Playbook Review comment

At least we can agree on one movie this year!

Did not see it in 3D. The filming was done at 48 frames/sec. From what I can tell, you only get an effect when viewing at an IMAX theater. 3D really doesn't have anything to do with it. I am anti-3D, will never watch anything in 3D, waste of money.

The same style is present in the new one. The high frame rate isn't even noticeable in a normal theater, don't know what all the complaints are about. The CGI is top notch. If you liked the first three, you'll like this one.
