One of the most underrated Hollywood epics ever! Featuring a strong cast led by Steve McQueen who gives his best performance, this 3 hour war adventure examines America's place in the Far East during the tumultuous civil war that gripped China during the 1920s. Both critical and celebratory of American imperialism in a thoughtful manner not seen in historical movies these days. And there's plenty of action, romance, and drama to boot!
