Plot: Baltimore 1954-55 - the world is changing and a family is changing with the times. An under-appreciated gem from Barry Levinson that perfectly portrays themes of racism, youth, and coming of age. The cast, particularly a young Ben Foster, is spot on and the results are both funny, triumphant, and often very thought-provoking.
