Another one for living legend Martin Scorsese. "Killers of the Flower Moon" isnt just a tightly pulled crime drama, but a socially conscious one too, invoking the centuries of plight and violence suffered by American Indians in the form of a gripping true crime saga and tragic love story. This may be the greatest example of a movie outdoing the book it's sourced from.
