Ah, time travel - always to fun time - especially when the time traveler in question is your favorite quip-happy actor Mr. Ryan Reynolds. And he's found himself the perfect match in the young Walker Scobell (who plays his younger self) who more than holds his own against the seasoned actor. Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo are also welcome as mom and dad and Zoe Saldana is her badass self as the love interest. While it's nothing you haven't experienced before (and just ignore that paradox created at the end) the people involved make it fun, exciting and better than most other Netflix originals floating around out there.

Whether it be Star Wars or Back to the Future, or Terminator, the movie THE ADAM PROJECT cannot help but feel derivative. The glue holding everything together is Ryan Reynolds and his costar Walker Scobell in a scene-stealing role as Reynolds' younger self. The villain is not that interesting. But there is a lot of heart and charm between the lead protagonists. It's better than a lot of recent Netflix action movies.
