Zany crime comedy drama based on the DeLorean case where a famed automobile exec and designer got caught up in a drug deal gone bad. Jason Sudeikis plays the real life FBI informant Jim Hoffman and as the lead character, he is carrying most of the dramatic heft on his shoulders. And Sudeikis is quite good as this desperate idiotic stool pigeon. Lee Pace is also great as John DeLorean the brilliant if enigmatic figure at the center of this case. If there's any issue with the movie, it does feel too much like a television film.
