Plot: Following his wife's sudden suicide, Richard and his two children Aiden and Mia do their best to cope and move on. Richard finds himself in a new relationship with Grace, lone survivor of a cult who all died by mass suicide. The comparisons you could make between this movie and "Hereditary" are abundant. "The Lodge" suffers from sluggish pacing and uninspired plotting in addition to a frustrating lack of originality.
