Plot: The young, successful, happily-engaged engineer Robert Fabry meets in a hotel by chance the lascivious prostitute Alice and spends a night with her. A little later he meets Carolin Winter at a law firm and - recognizes her as Alice. After a dinner and a violent overtures he gains insight into the peculiarities of their family. Winter lives with her alcoholic mother and a domineering father, with whom she has a submissive relationship.
Shortly after he takes flight, he meets again Carolin again as 'Alice'. After that night, he pursues the relationship further. The trail leads to Casablanca. After a trip to the desert and the mysterious explosion of the jeep the traumas of Carolin's childhood are brought to light. Everything now seems to be well, the wedding is planned.
