They may as well have called this Sports Movie to continue along the depressing trend of spoofing genres. This one may have a few more laughs, but it's not enough to get me to endorse watching it.

A parody done in the template first set by the 'Airplane' crew. It does a great job of weaving a good amount of sports films into a coherent spoof. However, the jokes range from 'too obvious' to 'laugh-out-loud' and everywhere in between. There's slow patches of un-funny peppered with some mildly funny jokes that end with a couple bigger laughs. The inconsistency in humor muddle this spoof, but the funny parts are dead on.
