Plot: After being crystallized in a case of mistaken identity, John Crichton and his pregnant fiance Aeryn Sun are reassembled by their comrades D'Argo, Chiana, Noranti, and Rygel with a little help from so...( read more )me new allies. They believe that they are all free to live their lives in peace away from the war between the universe's dominant races, the Peacekeepers and the Scarrans, but soon find out that the wormhole knowledge that Crichton holds in his mind is the key to victory for either side, and are back on the run. Matters are made worse when Crichton and Aeryn's unborn child is transfered from Aeryn's body into Rygel's in a freak turn of events and they have to find a way reverse things back to their correct state. Meanwhile, they're forced to align themselves with their mortal enemies, Scorpius and Sikozu, in order to survive while trying to locate a race of people who have the power to spread peace before the war destroys all living things in the universe. -- kissarmy71

so nice to have some of the loose end of the TV show tied up. However I'm sure if you weren't hooked on the show (like I was) you might not get to into it.

Astronaut John Crichton, who has spent the last 4 years marooned in deep space in the company of a band of outlaw misfits, is caught in the middle of an interstellar conflict that threatens the entire galaxy. During its run, the Buck Rogers inspired Farscape regularly veered between the sublime and the ridiculous, offering a blend of adventure, comedy and colourful characters that was consistently entertaining. This miniseries was created to offer a conclusion to the story after it was cancelled, and as a result suffers from the kind of inconsistencies and compromises that were inevitable in trying to tie up four seasons worth of plot threads. It does however capture the fun of the series as we see the final showdown between the Peacekeepers and the Scarran empire and Scorpius, probably …
