Plot: Saadia is an outcast Arab girl - a local sorceress has convinced her she has the "evil eye" and will bring nothing but despair to those who fall in love with her. A French doctor takes interest in her - seeking rehabilitation for the poor girl, but finding himself drawn to her. A local prince also becomes enamored of the young woman - but when a plague falls upon the city, Saadia is sure she is the cause and sets off to find the cure amongst bandits. -- Chris Kavan
